Abstract	辽宁省鞍山-本溪(简称鞍本)地区是我国重要的铁矿石资源基地,分布有众多大型、特大型BIFs型铁矿床(周世泰,1994;李厚民等,2010,2012;张连昌等,2012;Li et al.,2014)。在鞍本地区存在有两条重要的铁矿带,即樱桃园铁矿带和弓长岭铁矿带(图1)。但关于这两条铁矿带的关系,还存在争议:一般认为樱桃园铁矿带属上鞍山群,而弓长岭铁矿带地层为中鞍山群,二者为上、下层位关系。
